Cushioned Insole That Lasts Past Hour Six The footbed is built up through the arch to absorb impact, so the miles between meetings stop telling on your feet by the evening.

Grip Tread for Wet Pavement The outsole is cut for traction on slick stone and rain-soaked paving. The upper resists light weather, though it is not sealed against standing water.

Short Shaft With a Clean Lace Line Two or three eyelets keep the lacing tidy and the ankle close, so the boot reads neater than most desert boots under a trouser break.

Leather Upper on a Stitched Sole Unit The uppers are smooth leather with a close-trimmed welt line, panelled with few seams so the vamp creases evenly rather than buckling. The lining is smooth underfoot and the collar is lightly padded where the laces pull.
