Packs Down Without Losing Coverage The coat folds into a compact bundle you can stow in a bag and forget. Length to mid-thigh means you keep the coverage of a heavier coat while carrying almost nothing.

Quilted Shell With a Light, Dry Hand The face cloth is a tightly woven, wind-resistant shell with a dry finish — closer to a technical parka than a wax coat — quilted in even channels so the down fill stays put through the season. Seams are stitched through, the cuffs are elasticated, and the hem finishes straight for a clean line.

Wear it over a crew-neck jumper and dark trousers, or across a suit where a car coat would be too formal for the journey.
